To be an artist has always been Grace's goal. After working in stained glass for 25 years, she returned to her first love - painting. Oils were her first choice in paints until she began using watercolors and water-based pigments.
Transitioning from traditional styles, she became more of an abstract painter. Various workshops and classes were to influence her choices of materials and subject matter. Her style varies continuously as she experiments and explores, surprising her viewers as she develops something new.
Grace is a native of Washington, DC and currently resides in Bethesda, MD. As a long-standing member of Waverly Street Gallery, she exhibits there every month. She is a member of the International Society of Experimental Artists, Strathmore Hall and Yellow Barn Gallery. Her paintings have been exhibited at Glenview Mansion, Visual Arts, Foundry Gallery, Art League at the Torpedo Factory, Strathmore Hall and the Yellow Barn.
